We didn’t know what to expect when Andy Ward asked us some time ago what we think about a small family party in Spain for the housemusic lovers. No question we were in right at the time (anybody that has ever experienced fall in Switzerland can imagine that we said yes in first place for the weather, LOL). That one plane on Friday morning from Basel to Alicante was half filled with the Groovenite Crew). It turned out to be one of the best weekends we ever had. The people, the music, the place… everything was just wonderful and we can’t wait to get back next year. Well, if it WILL be next year again. This faboulus party weekend was organised by one and one man only: Andy Ward. And he deserves a special thank you.

As Greg Dorban (Reelgroove) said it right: “Andy has been very humble in thanking everyone else for making it what it is, but i feel he should take a bit more credit and limelight than he has!!!
I think Andy is one of the few (if not the only) person who could bring so many talented, warm friendly and positive people together. That is testiment to the man himself
.”

Or Kayzee said: “What a great group of talented people are gathered here“. So true!

So Groovenite.com also feels to thank everyone for this special weekend!

Andy Ward: Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort in this weekend, which was NOT for ANY profit but just the love of house. Unbelievable in this time and industry. We all had so much fun with you (and of course when we met you in Switzerland. Hope to repeat soon!). We were happy to support you for the Vocal Booth Weekender as much as we could and please let us know if we can help you again!

Vocal Booth family: Wow, what an amazing group of people we met there. From all over the world you were coming down to Los Alcazares. It was such a nice atmosphere and we really brought a lot of love to that place. Keep the spirit alive!!

Lorraine: for the transportation. worked all well. although we preferred the route on the highway :)

Hotel 525: What a great place you have. Especially we enjoyed the “wellness music radio” in the toilet and of course the roof top pool

…and here are some “not so serious thank you’s” ;-)

EasyJet: Thank you for letting us sit TWICE there were no more food was left and that our friend’s bag was too big to enter the plane. Right, did you check also the bags from the over 70s??

the girl that shouted like crazy on Saturday morning and woke the whole 3rd floor at Hotel 525 up (I must admit, I slept…. but I heard all of the others heard you). But it seemed like you excused yourself immediatly…. LOUD :)

the old ladies on the rooftop: was it me or did you just drink TOO MUCH VODKA?? But we’re happy you enjoyed the Toblerone…

Varazu club: Yes it’s called ‘Prosecco’, ‘Champagne’ and ‘fruit cocktail’… no worries, maybe next time you have it. We enjoyed it anyway :)

the saxophone player and your assistant in the restaurant area: you SUCK!

Well that’s it for now…. maybe we come up with some more stories… and by the way.. I was told Manchester United played very bad that weekend…. Don’t worry, we’re used to FC Aarau playing…. can it get any worse :)?
